About Us

We're Flanagan's Ale House, and we've been a locally-owned and family-owned Irish Pub in Louisville, KY, since 2000. We are pet friendly and offer 3 full bars, 2 event spaces, a large patio, a rotating draft list, events, weekly specials, pub food, live music, and much more. We're proud to be the local spot with the charm of an old country Irish Pub. Bartenders are always friendly and make good cocktails! The food is good, too. You have the option of sitting in, outside or on the back enclosed patio. There are also TVs.

We stumbled upon this fantastic pub while on the way to a different pub. Great atmosphere and a stellar beer selection. The fries were amazing, but the onion rings with malt vinegar aoli stole the show. Highly, highly recommend!

This place was amazing ! The food was great. Everything top notch. Kids had chicken strips, sweet potato fries, broccoli, and fish nuggets with tots. Great portion size for them and taste was delicious . We had the beer cheese Philly and the chicken cordon bleu with onion rings. All very good.

The look of the place is what brought us in. They have a very cute and quite large outdoor seating area, the weather was great today so we got to enjoy our food outside. Speaking of the food we absolutely loved the fried pickle spears, the batter is wonderful; perfectly crispy on the outside and had a nice doughy inside that went really well with the pickles. My burger and my boyfriend’s fish and chips were ok, nothing to write home about. Our server, Zach, was very nice and attentive. Checking in on us frequently enough that if we had any problem it would have been quickly addressed, thankfully no problems arose. Overall a nice place to sit outside, if the weather permits, and have a quick bite.
